Addwell was founded back in 1989. After 15 years working within the Cash Register industry, Mike Miles decided to ‘go it alone’. Initially, working from home, Mike was able to secure several strong relationships with some of the leading international Cash Register manufacturers, including Sharp, Casio, Omron, TEC and Geller. With a range of Cash Register manufacturers to offer, Mike hit the streets going from door to door to demonstrate the products. After seeing some initial success and extremely positive feedback, Mike decided that he would need suitable office premises if this business was going to grow. After searching around, he found premises perfect for his requirements in Romford, Essex. To this day, Addwell’s head office still resides in the very same building. Over the years that followed, the company grew at a rapid rate. New Technology became available and more affordable. Addwell remained ahead of the curve, offering innovative products and solutions to help businesses run more easily and efficiently. Mike’s belief was simple, provide a top quality product and back it up with outstanding customer support.
